- Andy Singleton Review added: 2018.03.06★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Reported a faulty smoke alarm on 2nd January 2018.Electrician found that there was no negative wire going to the alarm.He took a look in the loft and said that he had found asbestos up there and that he could not do anything until the loft had been inspected. A week later the loft was inspected and we are still waiting for the smoke alarm to be repaired.So somewhere in the loft is a junction box with a loose negative wire,which should be connected to the smoke alarm.
